The process plant consists of various types of tanks, machinery and installations, some to be installed at surface level and others on intermediate levels. To get the job done, Wagenborg Nedlift’s teams used various relocation methods and equipment.
This included deployment of Palfinger and Hoeflon compact cranes to place equipment in the building. The Hoeflon Carrier manoeuvred tanks through the building and the 180-tons gantry system placed the processing machinery at the higher levels.
Outside the building, the operator of the knuckle boom crane skilfully placed an air tank at a height through an opening in the wall of the manufacturing building. In addition, miscellaneous small assembly tools were used to move parts inside the building and put them on their foundations.
The whole project went super smoothly thanks to the versatile expertise of Wagenborg Nedlift’s assembly workers!
