Various solutions are available for vertical transport issues. In addition to various types of cranes, Wagenborg Nedlift operates jacking systems in order to bring heavy loads accurately to the correct height. In doing so, we use modern, sustainable and safe techniques.
4800-tonne computer-controlled jacking system
This sustainable computer-controlled jacking system consists of eight climbing jack boxes with a capacity of 600 tonnes each. With this jacking system, objects weighing up to 4,800 tonnes can be raised or lowered.
The new system resembles traditional jacking systems that have been available for years, but nothing could be further from the truth. The jacks are packed with new technical features that enable jacking operations to be carried out with great precision, safety and sustainability, such as:
- Built-in displacement measurement and pressure sensors, ensuring that the jacks move 100% simultaneously with minimal margin. This ensures that the forces on the object remain optimally distributed.
- Automatic hydraulic control valve, ensuring that the object is lowered in a safe and extremely controlled manner.
Electric power packs
The jacks are controlled using multifunctional hydraulic power packs. These power packs can be used to control not only the climbing jacks but also numerous other hydraulic applications, such as a slide system or beach jacks.
Ergonomic 400-tonne Cube Jack System
The Enerpac Cube Jack System uses jacking elements instead of beams. Unlike conventional jacking operations, the Cube Jack System works from the bottom up. This means that employees can remain safely on the ground during jacking operations and do not have to work at height.
The new system also eliminates the need for frequent heavy lifting of beams, as it uses standard elements that can be easily placed in the jacking set. These jacking elements are secured during jacking, which improves safety and stability.
3200 tons jack-up system
With this jack-up system system, loads with a weight of up to 3200 tonnes can be effortlessly jacked. The new addition has a height range of up to 20 metres and is equipped with so-called adjustable top-barrels: top parts that are fitted with a cylinder. This ensures that alignment during a jacking operation is quite easy, making the system flexible and efficient to use.
