This latest addition has a hydraulic reach of 18 metres and with the extendable fly-jib this is extended to a whopping 30.4 metres. Furthermore, the crane is equipped with a 3.5 ton hydraulic hoist.
Thanks to the P-Fold system, the knuckle boom crane is quick and easy to fold and unfold. The machine is also highly manoeuvrable and can cope with a compact set-up space. With the additional support on the Volvo, a 100% load capacity schedule can be realized in the total operating range of 360°.
Another big advantage of this newcomer is its fully electric deployability. The knuckle boom crane is equipped with an electro-hydraulic powerpack that enables emission-free and virtually silent operation. A true godsend on construction sites! So, operator Johannes Merkus was therefore delighted when Martin Wieringa (Nijwa Groningen) handed him the key.
The newest acquisition was used immediately the next day. At a construction site close to the Martini tower, right in the centre of Groningen city, Wagenborg Nedlift's team was tasked with placing building supplies on the roof. A perfect job for Johannes and his new knuckleboom crane. Thanks to the fast start-up time and limited set-up space required, the lifting work was performed safely, efficiently and without any nuisance to the neighbourhood.
