Reducing unnecessary emissions to a minimum
The ‘Road to Success’ pilot is aimed at minimising unnecessary transport emissions. During this six-month pilot, various emissions factors will be examined on a monthly basis, such as acceleration, idling, coasting to a stop and the use of cruise control. The driving coach that Wagenborg Nedlift has hired is going to evaluate the monthly results and provide feedback to the participating drivers. This will further optimise the driving habits of these drivers and they will learn how to drive with the greatest possible awareness and fuel efficiency. In other words, it’s an instructive coaching programme with a positive goal: higher sustainability on the road!
Reducing emissions on multiple fronts
It’s not just our employees who play an important role in reducing emissions. The choice of new equipment is also a crucial factor. That’s why Wagenborg Nedlift recently took an option for no fewer than 25 new Liebherr machines for the period from 2021 to 2025.
