Alwin Schuitema started his career at Wagenborg Nedlift 23 years ago as an assembly worker. He learned the tricks of the trade in moving heavy loads using all kinds of different techniques.
Through the position of foreman, Alwin has progressed within the company and now leads the operations team as supervisor. He is also increasingly involved in the preliminary stages of projects. He conducts job surveys and site visits and is involved in work preparation.
By now, he has an impressive list of special projects he has worked on, such as the skidding of a 2000 tonne railway viaduct in Münster, the Fahlenberg Bridge project in Berlin and the railway project in Leverkusen.
