Wagenborg Nedlift wins two ESTA Awards!
Small but powerful
The project ‘Small but powerful does it, for a great result’ won the award in the category up to 120 tons. For this project, a 10 tons filter press unit was positioned onto a platform inside a process building.
A precision job with very limited lifting height and a very few space for the compact cranes. It all came down to smart engineering of the project team and excellent craftmanship of the compact cranes’ operators.
Inching and pinching
The second Award winner was the SPMT transport job of the aft ship of MV Maxima, Royal Wagenborgs latest EasyMax2 multipurpose cargo carrier.
The 650 tons colossus was moved out of the construction hall of shipyard Niestern Sander with minimum maneuvering space. After that, the aft ship was positioned against the ships midsection up to the millimeter precisely. Real steering craftmanship of the SPMT operator!
