Wagenborg Nedlift's sustainability strategy includes concrete objectives. Reducing CO2 emissions is one of the main goals. We do this from an intrinsic motivation to keep our planet liveable for future generations. And of course we have to deal with laws and regulations at locations where we operate.
A challenge for which we came up with an innovative solution together with XCMG:
the world's first 60-tonne hybrid mobile telescopic crane. The XCMG XCA60_EV enables 100% electric hoisting. Completely emission-free and for up to 8 hours!
"When you work with this crane, it is quiet. I have also received many compliments from the construction workers about the quit running.

Zero emissions when lifting. Without compromising speed and efficiency. No harmful emissions and therefore better for the environment. The bottom line is that the XCMG XCA60_EV has a lower carbon footprint.
An ingenious feature is the battery integrated into the crane's counterweight. The XCMG XCA60_EV can run on electricity for 6-8 hours. This is a significant saving over, for example, an additional battery truck, which in turn means lower operating costs.
* Charging up to 380V: 8A - 63A.
* Recharging can easily be done with 8 or 16A on site, no 32A or 63A is needed for this.
* Optimum flexibility: the XCMG XCA60_EV automatically switches back to 8A.
The XCMG XCA60_EV is low-noise and low-vibration when running electrically. This means a safer and healthier working environment for the operator and bystanders.
This hybrid crane charges the batteries while driving and braking. So we always arrive at the work site with charged batteries. The power consumption of the outward journey does not need to be replenished. The operator can get straight to work!
