Wagenborg Nedlift's investment programme is well underway: a new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 arrived at the yard earlier this month. And last week it was announced that a further five new cranes have been ordered.
The first of the 5 heavyweights ordered has been delivered to Wagenborg Nedlift in Hengelo. The latest model of the MAN TGX 26.580 6x4 BL D38 will be used as a ballast truck for the 700-tonne Liebherr mobile telescopic crane.
December is festive season and the same goes for Wagenborg Nedlift! No fewer than three new Liebherr cranes arrived at the yards in Groningen and Hengelo (in the Netherlands) and Hörstel (in Germany).
Wagenborg Nedlift has recently expanded its road plates range with a new composite variant. These ISOTRACK X road plates are produced from high-quality thermoplastic material, making them exceptionally strong, durable and lightweight. They can also be linked together with a handy connector pin system, thus creating a continuous, non-slip surface with a high load-bearing capacity. Moreover, these composite road plates perform better than conventional ones when it comes to pressure distribution.
Royal Wagenborg and Liebherr Nederland B.V. are joining forces to considerably rejuvenate and to augment the sustainability of Wagenborg Nedlift’s crane fleet in the coming years. This way, the existing collaboration between the two family businesses will be strengthened further. “This partnership proves our long-term focus on the challenge of reducing our footprint together with our suppliers,” says Gerard Bastiaansen, Managing Director of Wagenborg Nedlift. ‘With this co-operation, we not only opt for equipment that best meets our customer requirements; at the same time, we also reduce significant amounts of nitrogen and CO2.”
A recent project in Löningen, Germany proved once again that the Wagenborg Nedlift assembly specialists are making optimal use of the potential that mini-cranes offer.
Traditionally, tropical hardwood (Azobé) is used for jacking operations. However, Azobé wood is a scarce natural product and so, it is not a sustainable solution. That is why Wagenborg Nedlift started looking for a better alternative.
