Commissioned by Voortman Steel Construction, we positioned a 32 meter long railway bridge at VION Food Group in Boxtel. The bridge, weighing 15 tons, is positioned early morning, in order to not disturb the logistic process at VION.
In the coming years, major maintenance will be carried out on both the infrastructure in the Netherlands and Germany. This involves replacing a large number of bridges, locks, flood defences and tunnels. Wagenborg offers its customers a wide range of smart solutions for the transport of large, heavy parts. While most people were asleep in their beds, the crew of Wagenborg Nedlift and main contractor Gebr. Reimert were very busy during a mid-February night. Scheduled for that night was the installation of the third railway bridge deck for the railway improvement project ‘Station Haren verbindt’ in the town of Haren, the Netherlands.
