The Churchill Bridge in Leiden will be renovated this summer. The bridge is an important link for the N206, connecting the A4 and A44 motorways. The work will be carried out during the summer period to keep traffic delays at a minimum.

03 September 2020 Template transport

Saint-Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm is being constructed in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc in Brittany, 16.3 kilometres off the French coast. When finished, the wind farm will produce 1,820 GWh annually, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 835,000 inhabitants. The installation works will last several months and will continue until 2022. The wind farm will be fully commissioned in 2023.

11 August 2020 New mobile cranes for Wagenborg Nedlift!

Wagenborg Nedlift again invests in new heavy range lifting equipment. Two mobile telescopic cranes of the type LTM1450-8.1 (450 tons lifting capacity) and LTM1650-8.1 (700 tons lifting capacity) will be added to the fleet shortly.

02 July 2020 500-tonne crane in action at the UMCG in Groningen

Last Saturday, Wagenborg Nedlift's 500-tonne mobile crane, fitted with a 90-metre luffing jib, was put into action at the UMCG in Groningen. Commissioned by Medicomzes, a total of ten bridge sections were lifted at a radius of 96-metre on the roof of the hospital. Together, these sections form a bridge with a length of no less than 60 metres.

Last Friday: a festive moment for Wagenborg Nedlift and Palfinger Nederland. The keys of the first two brand new knuckleboom cranes have been handed over. Number three will follow later on. It is all about the Palfinger PK 92002-SH.

22 June 2020 Bucket dredger hoisted

On Thursday 4 June, Wagenborg Nedlift hoisted the last coal-fired bucket dredger in the Netherlands, called 'Vooruit', from the museum harbour onto the car park of the Dutch Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik (NL). A large-scale maintenance operation is scheduled for the dredger.
